Warm Birthday Wishes with Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello friends!

It's Saturday and it's a fabulous day of FOOTBALL!! Go Gators!!!

I am sharing a card today that I created and shared last week but I have been asked by a couple of people for a blog post sharing how I created the card. I used two sets from Sunny Studio Stamps. They are a new company to me and so far I love every single product they have.

I love combining stamp sets so you can create more than they were designed for. It's what we call in the crafting world as "stretching your stamps" and getting more use out of them.

Here is the card I created with this ADORABLE penguin from Bundled Up

Eek! How cute is he?? I just love him. I stamped him using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him in using my Copic markers. I used the Fishtail Banners dies to create my white banner. The balloon and string are from the Birthday Smiles stamp set and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and also colored in with my Copics. The best part of this card is I took the ice cream cone from the Birthday Smiles set and the pom pom from a hat in the Bundled Up set to make the penguins birthday hat. It turned out just the way I wanted it to in my head. The sentiment is from the Bundled Up set.

You can find the Sunny Studio Stamps blog here with lots of inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great day!

Lawnscaping FIT Blog Hop : Violet

Good morning!

It's time for another Lawnscaping FIT Blog Hop and this time we were challenged with the color VIOLET!

We are sponsored by the Ink Road online store. All you have to do is hop along to all of the design team blogs and leave a comment showing  a little love.

I chose to do a little water coloring on my card and I am really happy with how it turned out.

I used the Stitched Rectangle Stackable Dies, Circle Stackables, and the Baked with Love stamps and dies all from Lawn Fawn to create my card. I used the color Dusty Concord distress ink to create my background and my Copics to color in the images.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you were inspired. All of the designers are listed and linked below. Enjoy the hop and all of the inspiration!

Warm Wishes with Right at Home

Good evening!

It's the eve before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. Everyone is planning what they are cooking for tomorrow and I am crafting away. I wanted to create a gift card holder using holiday stamps from the Right at Home shop.

I shared a blog post last week featuring a card using the new Ebook from Nicole who owns the Right at Home Shop. You can find more information and details on the post here.

I decided to make another project with small mini set that I received to work with and create a tag that will hold a gift card. Here is what I created.

I used the Stitched Duo 1 die from Pretty Pink Posh to die cut a piece of patterned paper from a Photo Play Paper collection called Dear Santa that I am in love with at the moment. I die cut another tag using red card stock and cut off a top using a die from Lil Inker Designs.

I then stamped the sentiment and flakes using Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The stamps are from Right at Home Holiday Release. I love the font used for the sentiment. I tied a piece of thick twine around the top of the tag and added an old gift card for picture purposes. I wanted a Starbucks card but had to settle for a Publix one instead.

Hope you enjoyed this idea and were inspired. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again.

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!

I Cherish You

It's been a fabulous Saturday! One of my best friends hosted a baby shower today for her daughter in law who is having a baby boy in February. Celebrating a new life with amazing friends couldn't get any better. I am so thankful for each of these ladies!!

Once I got back home, I started laundry and cleaned up a bit. Football is always on in my house on Saturdays which I am completely fine with and even encourage! I plopped down at my craft table and started working on something just for fun!

I have new stamps and patterned paper to play with so I decided to pair them together and create a card. One of my favorite crafters and bloggers is Carissa Wiley from Sprinkled With Glitter. She is so talented and her projects are mucho inspirational!! I love every thing she makes so when she made a card a few weeks ago I knew I had to try to put my spin on it! You can find the blog post and video HERE. I promise her videos are worth every single minute!!

Anyways, here is the card I created using stamps from Honey Bee Stamps, patterned paper/embellishments from Photo Play Paper and sequins/dies from Pretty Pink Posh.

The paper in the Autumn Day collection is absolutely stunning!! Every single design makes me this crafty girl giddy! It screams everything that is Autumn and I see a lot of projects in my future using this product line. I cut a piece of Neenah Natural White card stock to create a top folding card and then used another piece to die cut using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn

Once I decided what patterns I wanted to use I cut three of them in to different sized flags. I then used my Stitched Banner Duo 2 die from Pretty Pink Posh to die cut a piece of vellum paper. The beautiful sentiment is from the Cherish set from Honey Bee Stamps. I stamped it using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using beautiful new embossing powder called Gilded from Brutus Monroe. It is the most beautiful gold color once it's all melted. It will be my go-to when needing gold.

I used a sticker from the Autumn Day sticker sheet to tie in with the stamped sentiment and I think it fit perfectly! Once I was satisfied with where everything would go I glued it all down using my tape runner. I finished it off with a sprinkling of Metallic Gold and Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's all for now. Back to the never ending chore of laundry and cleaning up from dinner. Hope you enjoyed this card and were inspired. Products used are listed and linked below.

Lawn Fawn Winter Holiday Week - Day 4

Good morning!

Today I am back on the Lawn Fawn blog sharing a card for Day 4 of the Fawny Holiday Week

I decided to do a one layer card which is always a challenge for me to say the least!

I used the adorable ornaments from the Joy to the Woods set as my focal point. I colored my white card stock with Barn Door distress ink and then stamped all the ornaments in Versamark ink. Next I heat embossed them with white embossing powder and stamped the dotted line and boys using Versafine Black Onyx ink. The only layer on my card is the white card stock with the sentiment and the adorable holly berries stamped and colored with Copics.

Hope you will hop over to the Lawn Fawn blog to check out the rest of the inspiration! Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day!!

Merry & Bright with Essentials by Ellen

Good evening friends!

It's rainy and dreary here in Georgia so I took the opportunity to make something festive and fun. I had an idea of a card that I wanted to make after seeing a card made recently from a crafty friend, Laurel Beard. You can find her blog post here. She created an adorable Christmas card using the Bokeh Dots from Essentials by Ellen.

For my card, I used my Bokeh DotsMerry & Bright and Brushstroke Christmas stamp sets all from Essentials by Ellen. I also used inks from Avery Elle and Hero Arts to create the colorful dots.

Once I had everything stamped the way I liked them I stamped the sentiment from Brushstroke Christmas using Versafine Black Onyx ink.

I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush marker on a few of the dots and on the sentiment. You can't see it in the pictures but it really is beautiful. I went through all of sequins and picked out matching colors and scattered them around.

I attached the card front to a black notecard to create a top folding card and the rounded the top and bottom with my corner rounder. This is one of those cards that turned out better than I imagined it in my head and those are the best kind!

Thanks for stopping by. Products used are listed and linked below. Have a great night!
