Lawnscaping Challenge FIT Blog Hop : Orange

Good morning friends!!

It's the last Friday of October!! Can you believe it?!?! This year has flown by!!
Today is the Lawnscaping FIT Blog Hop and we using ORANGE in our projects!

We are sponsored by the Ink Road for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to their on line store! Just make sure you visit all of the blogs along the hop and comment on each!

I created a shaker card using pumpkins and sentiment from the Happy Harvest set from Lawn Fawn! Each of the pumpkins were stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with my Copic markers. I also stamped the sentiment using the same Rich Cocoa ink on white card stock.

The patterned paper is from Polka in the Dark 6x6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn. I used the Large Stitched Rectangles also from Lawn Fawn to create the card base and shaker base. I added brown and orange sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to fill the shaker card. Once everything was pieced together, I added my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush pen to the pumpkins to make them sparkle.

The rest of the design team have created beautiful projects to share with you today. You can check them out by clicking on their blogs below. Leave a comment along with your email address to be eligible to win the gift certificate from the Ink Road.

I Love You S'more

It's been a few since I've posted anything here on my blog so I thought I would share an adorable gift tag idea that I created. I pulled out an older set from Lawn Fawn as my focal point for my project.

I plan on attaching the tags to a bag with a graham cracker, a marshmallow and a small bar of chocolate. We have a Fall festival to attend on Saturday and I am going to give them away to a few friends. The sentiment and image is perfect and is sure to bring a smile to a child's face!

I ended up making 4 but it really was so easy to create once I knew what I wanted to do that I think I'll definitely make some more!

Hope you were inspired today and will leave me a comment letting me know what you think. I love hearing from all of you! Have a great day!

Merry Howlidays with Mint Owl Studio

I am here today to share an adorable tag that I created using stamps from a company called, Mint Owl Studio. It is a newer company created by a fellow crafty friend in the community. And by friend, I mean I follow her on Facebook, Instagram and watch all her videos on YouTube. So, technically, we are friends she just doesn't realize it. Her name is Tracey and you can find her amazing work on her blog at Tracey Mae Design

I purchased one of her new sets a few weeks ago and just found time today to create with it. The set I used is called Stocking Peekers and it so so adorable! You can find it here in the shop.

I created a tag using a dies from Pretty Pink Posh and patterned paper from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut two tags using the patterned paper but on the red one I cut along the stitched lines to make it slightly smaller. I die cut a circle using another die from PPP. Next I stamped the dogs and dog bone from Stocking Peekers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in using Copic markers and fussy cut them all out using my scissors.

The sentiment is stamped on a scrap piece of patterned paper in Memento black ink and then cut into a banner using my scissors. I assembled the tag together with my tape runner and popped up the middle dog with foam tape. I hole punched a tiny hole at the top and added some twine from my stash. It turned out much cuter than I anticipated and can't wait to use it for a friend at Christmas.

Hope you enjoyed my post and card for today. If you get a chance, check out the Mint Owl Studio. It's just starting out but so far has some really cute products!

Have a great day!

Lawnscaping Challenges #116 : Halloween Project

Morning friends! Hope your weekend was well. It was a busy one for our family. We had soccer games, cross country meet, church and went to the last day of the fair. The weather was beautiful and made me a very happy Mama to spend time with my boys. Life has been throwing us curveballs left and right these days so it's nice to enjoy each other and have fun.

For today, I am sharing a project for a new Lawnscaping Challenge that is all about Halloween. We are creating "Too Cute to Spook" projects using fun Lawn Fawn projects.

We are sponsored by none other than the amazing Lawn Fawn

I chose to go a simple route with my project today. I am excited to be able to create cute projects for my son's classmates this year and I needed to start on them. Simple is definitely the key to me getting them done this year! I reached for the Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag and started decorating. Here is what I came up with....

When I say simple I mean simple. White card stock for bag, patterned paper from the Let's Polka in the Dark 6x6 paper pad, whatever cute Halloween images you have and a ribbon to match. It's as easy as that. The purple good bag images are from the Booyah stamp set. That set is one of my favorites! The black polka dot is images are from Critters in Costume stamp set. An oldie but a goodie!

The black chevron ribbon I used is my absolute favorite ribbon. It has found it's way on so many of my projects. If I run out, I'm in serious trouble!

Hope you were inspired and enjoyed the projects for today! Check out the the Lawnscaping Design Team projects on the blog here. I promise you won't be disappointed and very inspired!

Have a great day!
