Colour Me...! Playful

Hi crafty friends.

Another challenge has started at Colour Me and I am running very late on posting my blog post. The internet at my parents house (where I'm staying for a few weeks) has been down and I've finally been able to get this post up.

This is my last post as a Design Team member with Colour Me...! I have enjoyed being a part of this team and I am very thankful to Tara and Hayley for allowing me to be a part of this amazing team! I will miss creating for each of you every week but look forward to continuing to play along with the challenges.

The colors are PLAYFUL and I just love them together!

I decided to use the colors to make up my background. I used the Stitched Borders 3 die to die cut each color and adhere it to my card base.

I then die cut a 3x4 Stitched Journal Die from My Creative Time and popped up on fun foam for added dimension. I stamped my image from the Create A Smile set called Balance in Memento Jet Black ink and colored it with some gray Copic markers. The sentiment is from the same set and stamped in Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango. I adhered some Sparkling Clear sequins around the card and to the scale.

I love the cheerful and bright feel to this card! Hope you can join us for this challenge. Thank you for stopping by. Please leave a comment if you have any questions or just want to let me know you stopped by! All products used are listed and linked below.

Have a great day!

Sunday Stamps #104 - It's Sketch Time

Good morning!!

It's time for another challenge at Sunday Stamps and this time we have a sketch for you!

I turned the sketch around to make a top folding card and used some papers, stamps and dies from Avery Elle. I love the soft and subtle colors from the paper pad that I used for my color palette.

I hope that you can join us in this sketch which will be open for 3 weeks this time around.

Please visit the rest of the DT blogs to see what they created for you. The products used are listed and linked below. Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great day,

Colour Me #76 Subtle

Morning crafty friends!

It's time for another challenge at Colour Me...!

I would never have paired these colors together by myself which is why I love these color challenges. They make you think outside the box and create beautiful color combos.

I chose to use a lot of die cuts for my card. I used Coastal Cabana card stock to make a frame from WPlus9. I then cut out flowers and leaves from Essentials by Ellen dies with Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive. I love love love these flowers and how they look together.

I adhered all the pieces to the card and then stamped the sentiment also from an Essentials by Ellen set in Memento black ink. I finished off the card with some 8mm sparkling clear sequins.
The colors paired together beautifully and I see myself using them again soon!

Hope you can join us in our challenge for this week. Head over to the blog to see what else the design team has created for inspiration. Have a great day!
