Wishing You Sunshine

Hello friends!

Another beautiful Sunday is upon us as is another new challenge at Sunday Stamps!
We are challenging you with a sketch this time around.

I wanted to make a clean and simple card for this challenge.

Card base was cut to 4.25 x 5.5 with White card stock from WPlus9. The first layer is cut using a patterned paper from a Create A Smile paper pack. I used the same pack to die cut the cloud, sun and sentiment.

The white scalloped piece, sentiment, sun, and clouds are all die cuts from a WPlus9 set Sunshine Layers. Every single thing about that die set is amazing!!

The sentiment wishing you is from the Create A Smile stamp set Bad Day. It has so many cute sentiments and monsters. You just help but smile when you see them!

Lots of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish off the card!

Hope you have a chance to join us at Sunday Stamps for this challenge. Head over to the blog HERE and check out the design teams cards for inspiration. There is also a DT call going for this challenge only! As always, the products used are listed and linked below.

Have a great day,

Angel

Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge

Hello friends!

It's finally Friday and we've reached the weekend. I am playing along with the brand new challenge hosted by Ellen Hutson using the Essentials by Ellen line.

I am so excited about a brand new challenge using these products as they are some of my favorites! Here is the photo we were given to use for inspiration.

I love that stool and those pillows. I need to find out how I can get them NOW. But until then I have made a card to help with my obsession.

I started out with a 4.25 x 11 piece of white yardstick from WPlus9 (my new favorite card stock) and scored it at 5.5 to make it a top folding card. I then masked off lines with washi tape and used black ink to fill in every other line to make these beautiful stripes.

I used a few hearts from different Essentials by Ellen sets to die cut and heat emboss with gold. I also die cut the word love and heat emboss with the same gold.

To continue with the gold theme, I used the starburst stamp from the Merry & Bright set to stamp and emboss directly on the card. I added a piece of white thread to wrap in a loose circle and then glued the die cut word on top.

I used some gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to spread amongst the hearts, rounded the bottom edges and called this card done. I love these colors together. Yes, I'm still thinking about that stool and those pillows. Just fantastic.

Here is a close up of those gorgeous hearts with the gold embossing powder.

You can find out all the information regarding this new challenge HERE and play along if you can. I have listed and linked all of the products used below. If you have any questions or thoughts, please leave me a comment. I do love hearing from you.

Have a great day,

Angel

Hello

Hi to all!

Today's post is for a new challenge starting at Colour Me card challenge and the theme is PLAYFUL!

I was in Jacksonville unexpectedly for 12 days due to a close friends mother who is battling for her life. While there, my G-ma fell and broke her hip. My sweet husband told me to stay as long as needed to help her and my G-pa with whatever they needed. She transferred to rehab after her surgery and is getting stronger each day. She is hoping to leave by the end of the week.

All that to say, I did not bring any of my craft supplies with me when I left so quickly. I was only planning to be there for a weekend so I didn't think I would need it. Thankfully all the design teams I am on were understanding and allowed me to skip my first week but I didn't want to skip another one.

I decided to raid my moms craft supplies and was able to come up with me card for this challenge.

All of the supplies are from Stampin Up. I pulled some stamps and dies from bits and pieces of her Paper Pumpkin subscriptions. Hope you are able to play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back on track soon with posting and being creative!

Have a great day,

Angel
