Warm Wishes with Right at Home

Good evening!

It's the eve before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. Everyone is planning what they are cooking for tomorrow and I am crafting away. I wanted to create a gift card holder using holiday stamps from the Right at Home shop.

I shared a blog post last week featuring a card using the new Ebook from Nicole who owns the Right at Home Shop. You can find more information and details on the post here.

I decided to make another project with small mini set that I received to work with and create a tag that will hold a gift card. Here is what I created.

I used the Stitched Duo 1 die from Pretty Pink Posh to die cut a piece of patterned paper from a Photo Play Paper collection called Dear Santa that I am in love with at the moment. I die cut another tag using red card stock and cut off a top using a die from Lil Inker Designs.

I then stamped the sentiment and flakes using Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The stamps are from Right at Home Holiday Release. I love the font used for the sentiment. I tied a piece of thick twine around the top of the tag and added an old gift card for picture purposes. I wanted a Starbucks card but had to settle for a Publix one instead.

Hope you enjoyed this idea and were inspired. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again.

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!

  1. Hi Angel. I LOVE this gift tag! It is so adorable. My 94 yr. old MIL gives her entire family money for Xmas so each year for her birthday (in Nov.) I make her 25 Christmas gift cards. I make them different every year and I am always coming up with new ways to attach the cash via pockets, etc.. (She always taped it in before I started making them for her!) This would be so cute on the card front! Thanks for sharing your wonderful tag!

Thank you so much for your comments. Hope you will come back soon!
