Lawnscaping Challenges #115 - Sentiments

Good morning stampers!

Today starts a brand new challenge over at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog and it's all about Sentiments! There are so much sets that feature adorable sentiments so I didn't have to look far to figure out which one I wanted to use on my card.

The challenge is sponsored by the amazing online store from Ellen Hutson! One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to use in the store! Thank you Ellen!

For my card, I used the Booyah set from Lawn Fawn to create my card. I also used two colors from Ken Oliver's Color Burst line to make my background. I am in love with these and want to use them on every single thing I make these days!

Look at all those amazing colors! It makes me giddy with excitement to see a project turn out exactly how I want it to in my head. I used a piece of distress water color paper and stamped the sentiment Booyah using Versamark ink. I then heat embossed it using Pearl White embossing powder. Next comes the fun part!! I used Merlot and Yellow Ochre Color Burst Powders from Ken Oliver to spray all over card stock. I used a Mini Mister with some Perfect Pearls in it to spray all over and it created this amazing background. It is colorful and so shiny!! I die cut a circle from the Large Circle Stackables from Lawn Fawn and then added the Burnt Orange Color Burst. I stamped the adorable ghost with the pirate hat and colored him in with my Copics. The sentiment is stamped also using Versafine Black Onyx ink.

I think this is one of my most favorite cards in a long time and I hope you were inspired as well. Head over to the blog to see what the rest of the Design Team created! Join in on the fun and let's see what you can create using sentiments!

Have a great day!
