Hello and good morning!
Today I am here to share a card I made for the new challenge at Sunday Stamps. It's a simple sketch that you can use your creativity to create anything you want!
I picked up an absolutely gorgeous paper pad from My Mind's Eye called Fancy That. It has beautiful colors of pinks, golds, grey and white. I've been working on invitations for my sister in law but took a break to make this card.
Once I decided on the papers I wanted to use I knew I wanted a strip to help separate them. I used my Versamark pad on a strip of white card stock, sprinkled on gold embossing powder and heated embossed. The flowers are from the Wild Peonies set from The Ton Stamps. I also heat embossed them using gold embossing powder and fussy cut them out leaving a small white border around them.
The sentiment comes from the Friggin Fabulous set also from The Ton Stamps and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I love the way the gold pops against the pink from the patterned paper.
After adhering everything to the white card base I sprinkled a few 4mm and 6mm gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh across the card. I also rounded the bottom corners using my We R Memory Keepers corner rounder.
I was very happy with the card once I stepped back and checked it out. Hope you like it as well. The rest of the DT have also created beautiful projects to share with you. Click on their names below to see what they made!
