Give Thanks for Lawnscaping Challenge

Hello and good morning! Today starts a new Lawnscaping Challenge and we are using TEXTURE.

Our challenge is sponsored by the amazing Ellen Hutson online store and you have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to their store. The folks over there are amazing and you won't be disappointed!

For my card today, I used white White Embossing Paste and Walnut Stain Distress Ink to create texture on my card. It's so simple and makes images pop!

I just adore those cute Thankful Mice. They may be tiny but they add so much fun to a card. I love coloring them and adding some color to their hats.

The small rectangle was die cut using water color paper and one of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable Dies from Lawn Fawn. I used Tea Dye Distress Ink and water to give a water color look before adding the colored embossing paste with a stencil.

Everything was adhered to a Neenah Solar White card base measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and scored to make a top folding card. The sentiment was stamped using Walnut Stain distress ink which surprisingly gave a very good impression. To finish the card, I used some mint green enamel dots that matched buckle on the hat of little boy mouse.

Hope you enjoyed the card I created for you today and were inspired to play along in our challenge. Please visit the Lawnscaping blog to see what the rest of the design team created.

Thank you for stopping by! The products used are listed and linked below for your convenience.

Have a great day,
