Morning stampin friends!
Today's post is for the brand new challenge at Sunday Stamps. We have a very simple sketch for you to use this time and it's really not as easy as it looks. Well, not for me....
I have a hard time with simple cards. I want to add watercolor, bling and more bling. For this card, I decided to stick with simple and I think I did a pretty good job.
I used a strip of striped and solid color paper from an older Echo Park 6x6 paper pad. I stamped my adorable dragonfly from Paper Sweeties in Versafine black onyx ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I colored her in using my Zig Clean Color markers to make her extra pretty. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and adhered them all to the white card base. I sprinkled a few yellow sequins around the card and called it a day.
It took a lot for me to not add more but the best thing I could do was take the picture, add it to my DT blog and walk away. If not, I know I would have obsessed over all the white space. Hee Hee
Hope you enjoyed the card for today and were inspired. Please visit the blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you today. The challenge will end on Friday, September 4th at 6:00pm EST.
Have a great day!
