Now on to the card I created for you today.
I used the Lawn Fawn set Make Lemonade to create my card. I first stamped the lemon in the set all over the card using Versamark ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then used my ink blending tool to color in the background using distress ink colors Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade and Scattered Straw. Once the background was complete I laid aside to dry while I worked on my image and sentiment.
I cut a piece of black card stock and made a banner out of it. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The cute pitcher was stamped in Versafine black onyx ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored in the "lemonade" using Squeezed Lemonade distress ink and my watercolor brush pen.
I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen to color in the lemonade and then used glossy accents to make the ice cube look more like ice. I used a few yellow and sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to sprinkle around the card. Adhered the piece to a white 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card base and called it a day. I absolutely love the yellow white the pop of black!
Thanks for stopping by today. You can find the rest of the design team inspiration on the Lawnscaping blog. I hope you were inspired and enjoyed the card for today.
Have a great day,
