Boy Meets Girl with The Greeting Farm

Hello friends!

I am here today to share a card using stamps and dies from The Greeting Farm. I have a few sets that I have been playing around with this week and will be sharing over the next few days. For todays card, I used the stamp set Flutter Heart. It has a lot of very cute images that can be used for love, marriage, friendship and possibly even Christmas.

I have a small crush on the distress ink color Cracked Pistachio! There is just something about it that makes me want to use it on every card I make. I resist but it's hard.

I used a piece of Dove Grey card stock from WPlus9 as my card base and cut to make a top folding card. Next I used a piece of Tim Holtz water color card stock to a apply the Cracked Pistachio with water. After I had it the way I liked it, I stamped the image and sentiment from Flutter Heart using Versafine Black Onyx ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it a shine.

Once it was all dry, I cut down the piece to slightly smaller than the grey card base and adhered it to some white fun foam and then to the base. I used my white gel pen to make some dash lines along the side and then adhered 2 sizes of Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh using multi matte gel.

I felt that the card needed a pop of color so I applied a little bit of Abandoned Coral to a piece of white card stock and then die cut a heart from the Beary Cute die set. I adhered it above the sentiment using some liquid glue and then applied a thin layer of glossy accents.

I hope you've enjoyed this card using the adorable set from The Greeting Farm. I will definitely be using this set more often!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you were inspired by the card and will leave me a comment letting me know what you think. All the products used are listed and linked below.

Have a great day!
