Sunday Stamps #106 - Let's Get Sketchy

Morning crafty friends!

Today I am back for another challenge at the Sunday Stamps blog! We are challenging you with a sketch and can't wait to see what you create!

It's a simple sketch but you can create whatever you like as long as we can see the sketch in your project. I went for a simple look yet used my watercolors to make a fun background.

I started with a top folding card base using white card stock from Neenah. I used some blue, green and yellow water color from my Kuretake Gansai set. Every single color in this set is beautiful and creates an amazing water color look. Once I achieved the look I wanted I dried it with my heat tool so I could do some embossing.

I used the So Jelly stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn to die cut four stars and the sentiment that I heat embossed with white embossing powder. I adhered some white sewing thread behind the stars to break up the colors and dimension

As always, I finished up my card using my favorite sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Hope my card inspired you to join in our challenge. You have until Friday, August 7th to enter. Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create.

Have a great day!
