Lawnscaping Challenge #109 : Sponsored by Ellen Hutson

Hello and good morning!

Today I am sharing a card that I created for the Lawnscaping Challenge

We are challenging you to add some SPARKLE & SHINE to your projects using bling, Glossy Accents, glitter, etc! If it sparkles we want to see you use it!

This challenge is sponsored by the amazing Ellen Hutson and she is giving away a $25 gift certificate  to her online store to one lucky winner. It is an awesome store with lots of amazing crafty stuff!

For my sparkle & shine, I used glitter and sequins. Even though they aren't necessarily sparkly I also used the fireworks from the Lawn Fawn set, Happy 4th. I stamped them out using Lawn Fawn Deep Blue and Lobster ink.

Next I cut a piece of vellum using the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Die to lay over my firecracker background to mute it a little but still show the design. I die cut the Congrats Scripty Die from Lawn Fawn using a product called StickIt and used Festive Berries Distress Glitter to adhere to the sticky part of the die.

I stamped the sentiment also from Happy 4th in Deep Sea on some white card stock and cut it down to size. I adhered red star sequins from Pretty Pink Posh (sequin set is out of stock now and not sure if being re-stocked) to the middle of each of the fireworks and tied a bow using liberty lawn trimmings from Lawn Fawn.

After I was done stamping the fireworks it bothered me that they weren't all straight. I'm not a perfectionist in my day to day life but let an image be slightly off and it freaks me out. Once the vellum was adhered over it and the die cut it didn't show as badly which made me very happy!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you were inspired. The challenge ends on Wednesday, July 15th. You can find more inspiration from the Facebook Inspiration Team on our Facebook page

All products used are listed and linked below. Please let me know if you have any questions or just want to let me know you stopped by. Have a great day!
