Paper Sweeties June Inspiration Challenge #32 - Party Time

Hello friends! This is number one of two posts today. I have officially joined the design team at Paper Sweeties and I am so excited! They have the cutest stamps, dies and embellishments. I am honored to have been asked to be a part of the team.

Today starts a new inspiration challenge for the month of June. You can find all the details on blog.

I knew the minute I saw the colors I wanted to use my new Zig Clean Color Brush Tip Pens. They are amazing and every ounce the hype that's being shared on social media lately!

I taped down my water color paper, brushed on each color and used a large paint brush to apply some water and blend the colors out. The colors are so bright and vibrant! Lots of coloring in my future!

After I finished coloring and dried the paper I sat and stared at it for a while deciding what to do next and this is what I finally came up with.

I created my own background on the card base using the flicking method for each color. I liked the little bit of color versus the stark white.

I adhered a doily to the upper left hand corner and added a scalloped frame from the Home Tweet Home Sweet Cuts that I colored and heat embossed the sentiment from Hello Friend using white embossing powder. I really wanted to add a pop of black so I heat embossed another sentiment also from Hello Friend using white embossing powder on some black card stock and adhered it to the bottom right corner. Finished off my adhering some yellow Cookie Dough sequins around the card.

The rest of the design team has created some amazing cards for inspiration. You can check them all out by clicking on their blogs below.
