Grateful For Our Memories - CMCC#74

Good morning!

Today's post is for a new challenge at Colour Me...! and we are going Monochromatic.

I always have a hard time with Monochromatic especially when lots of white is involved. I always want to add color which as you can tell below I was unable to stick with just white.

I started out with a piece of white card stock from WPlus9 and cut it to a standard top folding card. Next I used the Fancy Fans embossing folder (retired) from Stampin Up to emboss the front of the card. To give some added dimensions, I chose to use a Lace Paper Doilie from Stampin Up to place over the embossing.

I have officially jumped on the foil train and I love it!! There are so many different techniques that can be done and it looks so amazing! I decided to use some on a word die cut from Winnie & Walter.
The color is Light Pink and it is from Heidi Swapp. The color is absolutely gorgeous. I adhered the die to the doilie and then heat embossed the sentiment also from Winnie & Walter using Liquid Platinum embossing powder from Ranger. It's a gorgeous color!!

I am happy with the way it turned out and can't wait to get it sent off to it's recipient.

Hope you can find some time to join us in the challenge for this week. Stop by the blog to check out what the rest of the design team has created for you. Lots of beautiful inspiration!

All products used will be listed and linked below unless no longer available for purchase. Thanks for stopping by today! Please leave me a comment if you have any questions or just want to show me some love ;)

Have a great day!
