Sharing a quick card with you today for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I don't have a whole lot of time these days so clean and simple is what I am creating. I look forward to getting back to water coloring, embossing paste and Copic coloring one of these days.
The sketch for the challenge is simple and was easy to create.
I haven't entered a challenge in a long time. It's fun to make a card just because without a deadline. My next goal is start sending these cards out to people in my life. I have so many cards just sitting waiting to be mailed. I think I'll start with this one today for someone that I know could use it.
The card base is Very Vanilla card stock from Stampin Up cut to a standard 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 side folding card. The text paper is from an Echo Park 6x6 paper pad called Sunny Days Ahead and cut using the largest rectangle stitched die from Lawn Fawn. The blue paper is also from the same paper pad cut using a die from WPlus9 called Sunshine Layers Die. The small cream piece is Very Vanilla card stock from Stampin Up cut using a smaller rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. The banner are cut using my scissors and are also papers from Echo Park paper pad.
The very cute umbrella is cut using a Sweet Cut from Paper Sweeties called Showering You With Love and paper is also from the Echo Park paper pad. The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set also called Showering You With Love. I finished off the card using some Lemon Drop sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I love using paper pads because it makes it easier to coordinate all of the papers together and you don't have to think too much about it. Echo Park makes some of the best papers and the colors and designs are beautiful.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope my card has inspired you in some way and if it has please leave me a comment letting me know you stopped by or have any questions. The products used are all listed and linked below.
Have a great day,
