Good morning crafty peeps!
It's Saturday and I was up bright and early. I figured since I had a little quiet time to myself I would tip toe in to my craft room and make something.
For their May challenge, they are teaming up or as they say it "mixing it up" with Avery Elle! I love both of these products so I had no problem coming up with something fun. The hardest part was figuring out which one I wanted to use which I like to call #craftyproblems.
I started out with a piece of white card stock cut to 8-1/2 x 4-1/4 and scored to a top folding card. I cut a strip of white card stock 4-1/4 x 1 and then used a stamp from the Avery Elle set called Celebrate to stamp diagonal lines using Versafine black onyx ink.
I die cut a tag from the Avery Elle Gift Tag Elle-Ments set and used a mini blender ink tool to apply color using Raspberry ink from Avery Elle. I tried to give it an ombre look and I think I succeeded quite well. The color is beautiful in person. I then used one of my favorite new stamp sets from the Essentials by Ellen line called Mondo Magnolia. The flower and sentiments are amazing!
The sentiments are so great and I can see myself reaching for this one quite often! I heat embossed both sentiments on the tag with white embossing powder from Ranger.
I grabbed a few other stamp sets from the Essentials by Ellen line called Bohemian Garden and Bold Blooms to make a panel along the right side of the card. I also used the ink colors Mint to Be and Fog from Avery Elle to stamp the images.
I adhered the tag on top of the strip using some foam tape and then sprinkled some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh around the card. It never seems like my cards are finished unless I use some sort of sequins. They just finish the card for me!
I hope you've enjoyed the card for today. Please leave me a comment if you have any questions or just want to let me know that you stopped by. As always, the products used will be listed and linked below.
Have a great day!
