Welcome Little One

Welcome back!

Today's post is for the new Sunday Stamps challenge.

The colors remind me of Fall so I was a little hesitant at first about making a card because I'm ready for Spring and bright colors. I decided to really focus on the color yellow.

I used the Mama Elephant Femme Frames to create the back panels. The yellow piece was created using my beautiful Gansai Tambi set that creates gorgeous water color on some Tim Holtz watercolor paper. The next piece is die cut with Basic Black card stock and adhered to the yellow piece.

I die cut the banner from Pretty Pink Posh out of another piece of Tim Holtz and used more of the yellow paint to create a some color on the banner. Once the piece was dried I stamped the sentiment from an Avery Elle set called StoryBook in Versafine Black Onyx ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I also stamped the duck and butterflies with Versafine and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I used my water colors to color the butterflies in and the feet and bill of the duck. They were popped on dimensionals and adhered to banner. I used some yellow sequins from Pretty Pink Posh around the card and tied a chevron bow to the left of the card.

I love the way it turned out and have the perfect couple that I will be sending it to soon. Hope that you were inspired and are able to join us at Sunday Stamps this week. As always, the products used will be listed and linked below.

Have a great day,

  1. Lovely spring card especially the contrasting yellow on the black/ white cardstock.

  2. Super cute card! Love the little goose!

  3. Beautiful card, love how you've used the colours, a really spring feel to what could have been autumn colours :)

Thank you so much for your comments. Hope you will come back soon!
