Sparkle & Shine Challenge One

Hi friends! It's finally here! The first challenge of Sparkle and Shine is up and ready to go! I can't believe that after all the hard work to get it started and putting together a DT that it's live today!

You can find out all of the details on the Sparkle and Shine Challenge blog here.

The challenge for this time around is green, good luck, shamrocks or however you perceive it.

I pulled the color green and a lucky theme for my card. I just love the way it turned out.

I started out my card using Neenah Solar White as the cards base for a top folding card. I used patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and die cut the bottom two panels using the Femme Frames from Mama Elephant. Those die cuts seem to be my go to dies lately for layers.

Next I used a creative mask from Stampin Up to make the green stars on the tag from Pretty Pink Posh. To make the stars, I used mix some Mowed Lawn distress ink with white embossing paste to give some dimension. I stamped the sweet bunnies from a Mama Elephant set on to polka dot paper and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I used the Stitched Hillside Border dies from Lawn Fawn to have the bunnies sitting on.

I popped up the tag on foam dimensionals, white heat embossed the sentiment from another Mama Elephant set and then adhered some sequins from the Nature mix from Pretty Pink Posh.

I hope that you can join us for our first challenge. The winner will win a $25 gift certificate from Pretty Pink Posh so get your craft supplies out and get to creating.
