It's a cold morning here in Georgia and we are under a Winter Storm Watch until Tuesday. While my northern friends are tired of the snow I am a little excited about the possibility of snow. I don't think it will be a whole lot but it's still fun for my boys. And it will give me time to craft. It's a win win!
For today, I am sharing a new project for the Sunday Stamps Challenge.
I love the blues and grays with a pop of white. I debated on doing my card using the cake image but I received a new stamp set from Create A Smile stamps last week and was dying to use it.
Isn't that monster just the cutest ever? That's the type of monster I want to find under my bed! I stamped him out with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him in a with my Copic markers. I then fussy cut him out which is not my favorite thing to do but using my Memento black marker around the edges makes it look near to perfect. I applied glossy accents to his eyes to make them pop.
The layers of patterned paper are from a Create A Smile paper pack and cut out with Winnie & Walter dies. I love the stitching around the edges! The tag is also from the same W&W set. I die cut it from some Neenah solar white paper and embossed it with a polka dot folder from Stampin Up.
The two rectangle layers were adhered flat to the card base while the tag and cute monster were popped up on foam tape. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink on a banner die from W&W. I added some enamel dots and used my glossy accents to make some clear dots. The ribbon is just some that I had from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my project. Now head over to the Sunday Stamps blog and check out what the rest of the design team has made to inspire you today.
There are just a few rules when playing along with the challenge:
Please leave me a comment letting me know what you think or if you have any questions. As always, the products used will be listed and linked below.
