Hi friends. Welcome back.
This blog post is up late and I apologize. I am so mixed up on my days as we've been on Christmas vacation and all of my days have been running together. I've felt like every day is Saturday. The oldest starts back to school on Tuesday which means back to reality.
Today starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps and it's a sketch!
I went with a very simple project. It was a gloomy day when I finally decided to get this done and I just wasn't feeling crafty. I used some really old patterned paper from American Crafts as my base.
(Sorry about the quality of this picture. It was gloomy and the lighting was terrible)
I used a border die from Avery Elle to create the scallop on the side. The heart is from a Lawn Fawn set which I covered in glossy accents to make it shiny. The word YOU is from a Mama Elephant set and SO MUCH is from a Simon Says Stamp set. The word you was stamped in Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to also give it a shiny look. I added some sequins to go along with the shiny look.
Hope that you can join us in the challenge this week. Just a few rules to remember....
