Colour Me Card Challenge #56

Happy Hump Day!

We've made it to the middle of the week. Only 2 days left until the weekend. I am spending the weekend with one of my favorite crafty friends and can't wait! Lots of fun to be had.

Today I sharing my a card I created for the new Colour Me Card Challenge

Let me just say that I love a good challenge and this right here is a good one. Those are not every day colors that you would automatically pair together which made this very challenging.

I started out with a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and scored it to be a top folding card. I think cut a piece of Daffodil Delight CS at a diagonal and embossed it with a Woodgrain embossing folder. Next I die cut the very cute tag from the newest Pretty Pink Posh release! I have all of her tag dies and they are just my favorite.

I then cut out four squares in Tangelo Twist, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight and white. I created an inland die technique with all of the square. I cut a heart from an Essentials by Ellen die in Blackberry Biss and mounted it to the white square to help make it pop and stand out.

Once all the pieces were adhered, I pop up the tag on some foam tape. The sentiment is from a Paper Smooches set called Sentiment Samper and stamped in Blackberry Bliss. I tied some lawn trimmings from Lawn Fawn into a bow and adhered it to tag with a glue dot. Finished it off by rounded both top corners to match the tag.

The card is colorful and showcases all of the colors for the challenge well. Check out what the other design team members created to inspire you.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you were inspired. As always, all of the products used will be listed and linked below. I do love reading all of your comments so let me know what you think. Have a great day!
