As You See It Challenge - Guest Designer

Hi friends!

To go along with the new year, I am sharing a new challenge. I am honored to be a Guest Designer at the As You See It Challenge blog.

This challenge is a sketch.

I received some new stamps and dies from the newest Lawn Fawn release for Christmas. It was time to open them and take them for a test run.

I started out cutting my card base to a top folding card using Neenah Solar White card stock. I used a patterned paper from Lawn Fawn for my background. I then cut a smaller white piece from NSW card stock using my Large Stitched Rectangle Dies from Lawn Fawn.

To make my dotted lines, I used a stamp from Avery Elle set called Bunting. It comes as a straight line but I curved it on my block to make it look like the bugs were climbing or flying up. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhered my cute bugs that I colored using my Copics. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and Love Letter Red. The red is a new color for me and I love it!! I added some red enamel dots to go along with the sketch. I adhered the white panel to my base using foam tape after laying down some red sewing thread to add a little character.

I adhered it all to my card base and called it a day.

I am so honored to be a part of this challenge and hope that you will take a few minutes to head over and check out what the rest of the design team has created for you as well.
