I have a busy day planned but I wanted to share a card I made for the current Friday Mashup challenge going on now.
It's a weather challenge with a choice of using a metal embellishment. Now that I'm staring at my card I realize that I completely forgot the metal embellishment part. Oops!
I sponged on three different colors of distress inks to make the night sky. I made the falling snow from a Winnie & Walter stencil using white embossing paste. I have always loved this look for snow.
I die cut small hearts from some yellow card stock and adhered them around the sky. I then colored them a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen and then with some glossy accents to give them some shine. I cut out the hills from a Lawn Fawn stitched border die. The houses are from an Ellen Hutson die that I cut from black card stock. For the windows I used the same yellow paper to make it look like there was light shining. I stamped smoke coming from one of the houses and the sentiment in Versasfine black ink.
This card would be a card that could easily be massed produced and so cute for Christmas. I have been making Christmas cards through out the year so I have a lot to send out when it's time.
Hope you will check out the challenge and join in on the fun. If you like what you see, please leave a comment and I let me know. I love reading your comments. As always, products used with my listed and linked below.
