Hi friends! Welcome back!
Today's card is brought to you by a new challenge site for me. I bought some new Avery Elle stamps, dies and inks during a Black Friday sale and they arrived on Thursday. I couldn't wait to pull them out and use them. I've never participated in the AE challenge as I didn't have products but now I do.
I love the Inlaid Die Cut look. It looks really good on a card and gives it a sharp look. I haven't done it a while so this challenge was fun. I used a new snowman stamp and die called Be Jolly.
The patterned paper is from a Carta Bella collection called All Bundled Up and has to be the cutest paper ever. The colors and patterns are just amazing! I cut the card base to be a 5x5 card base. I used the circle stackables from Lawn Fawn to create the circle where the snowmen would be playing.
The snowmen were stamped on some Neenah Solar White paper and colored with a variety of Copic markers. I cut both snowman out with the coordinating die to make the inland die effect. I put the shaker card together using some foam tape and then added sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I tied some white bakers twine at the bottom, stamped the sentiment with Cherry ink from Avery Elle and adhered it over the right side of the twine with glue dots. I spread some additional sequins around the circle for a little extra bling.
I love the red, white and blue colors. It gives more of a wintery look than a Christmas card. It's a very feel good card! Hope this inspires you to make some thing and maybe join in on the challenge. As always, products used will be listed and linked below. Thanks for stopping by.
