Happy night before Thanksgiving! We have been enjoying our time here in the mountains. Yesterday we went on a 4 hour train ride on the Blue Ridge Railway and my 4 year old was in heaven! He was so excited to hear the "choo choo" and see the "man who drives it." I just love his excitement.
I've also been crafting. I love being secluded in the mountains with cold weather outside and me inside being creative. For today, I want to share a quick project I whipped up for the Lawnscaping Challenge that is closing in 3 hours from now! Eek.
So the challenge is to use numbers somewhere on your project. Let me be honest. Once I figured out what I wanted to make I realized I didn't have numbers big enough. Next comes a bit of panic and then deciding what else I can do. I settled on something else that might not exactly work but I still really like the way it turned out in the end.
I didn't necessarily use numbers but I spelled out numbers. Hee Hee. I wonder if that will count. To make this goodie bag by Lawn Fawn, I used a lot of different Lawn Fawn products. There is also a lot of heat embossing. I wanted to use the color combination of red and white as I was planning stuffing the bag full of mini candy canes. Sticking with a theme is always better for me.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow if you will be celebrating. We plan on eating a lot and spending quality time together as a family. See you back here tomorrow with a new card for another challenge.
As always, the products used will be listed and linked below. If you like what you see, please leave me a comment and let me know. I do love reading all your comments.
