Merry Christmas from Mama Elephant

Hi and welcome to my blog.

Today I wanted to share a card that I made at an all day crop yesterday. I was having a bit of a creative block so it took me a while to get started and figure out what I wanted to do.

I went through all the stuff I brought with me and settled on a new Mama Elephant stamp and die set that I just absolutely adore. It is called Cozy Christmas and this is what I created.

Isn't Mrs. Claus just too adorable? And she has gingerbread cookies which makes her even more adorable! I l just love red and green together for the holidays! It's traditional and makes me happy.

The tree is colored using distress inks and water. You can't really tell it was water colored but in person it is very vibrant in color. The hexagon were created using distress inks, embossing paste and a stencil from Heidi Swapp, I love that you tint the embossing paste any color you want to match your project.

Mrs. Claus is colored using Prismacolor colored pencils and Gamsol for blending. Lots of little things were added to make this card extra special.... glitter, glossy accents, white gel pen and sequins (of coarse). I hope that you enjoyed this Christmas card. Someone special will be getting this one!
