You're The Best

Good morning! Fall is officially here in North Georgia! I am so excited for the cooler temperatures. My oldest is also excited that he gets to build fires in our outside fire pit once again. I think it's one of his favorite things to do this time of year!!

Yesterday started a new challenge at the Sunday Stamps challenge blog. It is a sketch challenge.

I received my Simon Says Stamp card kit last week so I decided to use it for my card this week. It's all about coffee and with the new lower temps I've been wanting coffee more.

The patterned patterns are from Basic Grey's Grand Bazaar collection which come in the card kit. The tag is from the new Echo Park Tag #1 Dies set. I love the circles and scallops on this one. I cut a small piece to put my sentiment on. The sentiment is from the stamp set that comes with the card kit called What's Brewing. It is all about coffee and has some really cute sentiments. I distressed the edges and stamped the sentiment with the Simon Says Stamp Khaki ink pad that also comes in the kit. I used some Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon from SU to tie on the die and a few brown sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to dress up the card a bit. The cute wood veneer coffee cup was also in the kit and I stamped some steam coming out of the cup in the Khaki color ink as well.

The card turned out exactly how I wanted it to and that makes for a good stamping day! I hope this inspired you to join us at Sunday Stamps for our sketch challenge. If you are also interested in the kit from SSS, you can get all the information HERE.
