Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by today.
I am sharing a card using new stamps from the Essentials by Ellen line. There was a brand new release last weekend and I am so glad I was able to snatch up a few of the stamps and dies.
The card that I made today is for The Challenge #16 which you can find all details here. The challenge was to use this sketch and this color combo.
For the colors I used Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Gray and Raspberry Ripple from Stampin Up. These were fun colors to work with and the sketch was simple.
I used Basic Black as my card base and then added Raspberry Ripple and Whisper White for my layers. I stamped the spiral in Basic Gray and in the middle added a silver sequin from Stampin Up and a 4mm black sequin from Pretty Pink Posh. Next I embossed the sentiment Warmest Holiday with white embossing powder on Basic Black card stock and cut it into a banner.
Next I die cut the word wishes 4 times and adhered them all on top of one another with liquid glue. I added a basic rhinestone from Stampin Up as the dot for the letter I. For the finishing touches, I added more 4mm black sequins, my Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on the word wishes and around the spiral and white dash lines along the two sides with my Uni-ball white gel pen.
This card could be duplicated very easily and may be something to consider when I'm creating my Christmas cards. I love the colors and how well they all work together.
I hope this sketch and color combo will challenge you as well. Head over to The Challenge blog to check out what the Design Team created. You will not be disappointed. As always, supplies used will be listed and linked below. Thank you for stopping by and I would love if you would leave me a comment letting me know what you think about my card.
*The card stock color Raspberry Ripple is no longer available. I apologize.
