Hello and good afternoon. Hope all is well in your world wherever you may be today.
I've been unable to be in my craft room for the past few days and I've been in withdrawals. The card I am sharing with you today is just one of those that turned out perfect. I had such a fun time creating it and I hope that you enjoy it as well.
The products used to make this card come from 3 different companies which all happen to be some of my favorites. I love how they can all come together to make some thing great.
The card base was cut to make a top folding card as that is my go-to card these days. I stamped and and colored the cute little monkey with my Copic markers. Next I stamped and colored the balloons with all different Copic color markers.
I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen on the red balloons, glossy accents on the blue, white gel pen on the green and sequins on the yellow. I wanted each of them to stand out. Next I die cut the clouds from a Simon Says Stamps die. I think my favorite part is the grass.
I cut out the grass using the grassy borders die from Lawn Fawn. This has to be one of my favorite border dies and I use it every chance I get. I cut it out of water color paper as I just love the texture it gives. Next I colored both of them with my green Copics to give it some depth and dimension. I then stamped the first part of the the sentiment using white embossing powder and finished the last part with onyx black Versafine ink.
I finished up the card by adding lots of different embellishments. I used sequins by Pretty Pink Posh that I always reach for when completing a card. I used my white gel pen to make faux stitching around the edge of the card. I thought I was finished with it but decided there was a lot of empty space so I went to stamps and decided on a few birds. I used the birds from an older Lawn Fawn set called Life is Good. I thought it finished it off just right. One of my favorites in a long time!!
Thanks for stopping by today so I can share my creation with you. Please leave me a comment letting me know what you think. I do love reading the sweet comments. As always, the products used will be listed and linked below.
Come back again,
