May Your Days Be Merry

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog today.

I am continuing to use the new stamps from the Essentials by Ellen line. There is so many things that can be done with these sets and I'm going to find all the ways to use them.

This is a simple design. It turned out just like it did in my head which I always love.

I started out by cutting a card base to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 from Whisper White card stock from Stampin Up. Next I cut a thin strip of Lipstick Red card stock from Simon Says Stamp to adhere to the right side of the card. Another piece of Whisper White was cut down to 4 x 5 1/2 to stamp my design on.

I stamped the squiggly (<--- I do love that word) line in Blackboard ink from Hero Arts so it would pop! I added the holly leaves in Leaf Green from Simon Says Stamp and the holly berries in Lipstick Red ink from Simon as well. It's so easy to make precise placement with clear stamps. After stamping all the holly berries, I added some white dots with my Uni-Ball white gel pen and colored in the leaves with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen. The sentiment was stamped in the Blackboard ink from Hero Arts and Lipstick Red from Simon Says Stamp. I sprinkled some red and green sequins from Pretty Pink Posh along the card as well for some added bling. Last by certainly not least, I colored in the red strip with my Wink of Stella Glitter pen that was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's latest card on her video you can find here. She has amazing tutorials and amazing creativity!

I placed another order today from Ellen Hutson for the rest of the product release and I can't wait to get it! Amazing service and it's grown to be one of my favorites!! Check it out if you haven't already.

Hope this inspired you today and that you will leave me a comment letting me know what you think about this card. As always, the products used will be listed and linked below.

Thank you,
