I stayed very true to this sketch for this time around. I really loved the sketch and didn't want to change it too much. I definitely knew where I was going to put sequins and I'm sure you do too!
I started off by cutting a piece of SU Smokey Slate card stock to 4x6 and rounded the edges to give it a softer look. The patterned papers I used are from a new Teresa Collins 6x6 paper pad called Life Emporium. All of the papers in this pad are fabulous!
I cut one the polka dot paper in to a banner and popped it up with dimensionals. It took me forever to figure out a sentiment but kept going back to this one. I didn't want the layout of the card to be to simple so I decided to a stencil from Tim Holtz to give it some character. I used Hero Arts White Unicorn ink to sponge on to the stencil and loved the subtlety of it. I adhered everything down and then had to find my sequins. I just couldn't wait to glue those babies on! They are just so much fun!!
