For this post, I am sharing my card for the Sunday Stamps challenge going on right now. This time around is a color combo challenge and boy did this one challenge me!
I don't do well when the color pink is involved. I have 2 boys and I don't use the color often. I actually have never been a huge pink girl so I get a little nervous when I have to use it. As you will tell in my card, I used pink more than others to try and challenge myself.
I finished it off by punching out tiny pink flowers from a retired punch (Itty Bitty Punches) and put a rhinestone in the middle of each. Then I heat embossed the word hello from the same Hello Darling stamp set in silver embossing powder from Ranger. It helped tie in the rhinestones and I love the way it looked.
It turned out far better than I thought it would in the beginning. This card started out as something totally different and then I scrapped that one and started on this one. Hope this inspired you to head over to the Sunday Stamps blog and join us in this challenge.
