Good morning! It is a gloomy Saturday morning here in Georgia. We got lots of rain yesterday that we needed pretty bad. Hopefully we will get more today so I can find a really good excuse to hide in my craft room. Not that I really need an excuse. I could spend all day every day in there.

The wonderful man that drives the big brown truck and makes deliveries to my front door dropped off a box full of supplies from the new SU holiday catalog. I was like a kid at Christmas opening that box. I love just about everything in the catalog and can't wait for it to go live at the end of this month.

One of my favorites is the new Halloween monsters stamp set and the coordinating paper! The colors are just amazing together and the monsters are just adorable. Yes, monsters can be cute! Let me show you my card and you will agree too!

I told ya so! I guess you can make anything cute with googly eyes though. They just scream cute!
I wanted to do a fun background with ink. I chose to use the hardwood background stamp. I covered the stamp with Versamark ink and used clear embossing powder to give it a glossy look. Next I used Crushed Curry, Sahara Sand and Black Soot inks to color the background. I love how all the colors blended so well together. You can't really see the Sahara Sand but I promise it's there.

The tag is cut out using a die from Pretty Pink Posh and I just love it. There are so many things you can do with this die and I just knew I had to use it for my monsters to pop out of. The polka dot paper is from the new Halloween paper. You are definitely going to want this paper!! Just so cute!

I stamped the monsters in Memento black ink, Sahara Sand, and Crushed Curry then I fussy cut them out. I do wish there were dies to go with the little dudes but it wasn't to hard to cut them. I'm just spoiled with dies. The sentiment Boo is from our Holiday Project Life set. It has some great sentiments to use for the holidays.

The card came together quickly after I had the monsters complete. I added the googly eyes and then added some sequins for some bling. I always have to have a little bling somewhere.

Hope you have enjoyed this card with the new products. More sneak peeks coming soon....
Have a great day and happy stampin!
