I was able to get some crafting time in this weekend at a crop. My local scrapbook store (EMI Scrapbooking) has a 10 hour crop at a hotel twice a month. It's fun to get together with other women who share the same crazy obsession that you do.
All of the new Teresa Collins paper lines came in this past week so I took a trip to the store to stock up on all the pretty things. The new Christmas paper is just beautiful. I wanted to do a Christmas card but the challenges that I looked at asked for things I didn't have on hand. Yes, surprising, I know.
I decided to go with the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches for this week.
It's a clean and simple sketch so I was able to get it done quickly. I used patterned paper from the Teresa Collins Nine & Co. line which has beautiful colors of teal, coral, yellows and grays. I noticed that all of her lines coordinate with one another so if you purchase the embellishments from one kit they will more than likely match another. I like that. A lot!
The polka dots, flowers and wave like patterns all paired so well together and helped the card come together beautifully. I used a die cut for the sentiment that fit perfectly. The changed the last word from friendship to love with some stickers that are a part of the Tinsel & Company line also from Teresa Collins. The gold button is from Stampin Up and the gold sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope this has inspired you to create something with your craft supplies as well. The FMS challenge ends tomorrow so you have a little while to make something fun as well. Enjoy and happy stampin!
As always, all the supplies are linked below and if you have any questions, please let me know.
**Gold button used is a sneak peak from the SU Holiday Catalog due out at the end of this month**
