A Little Kindness

Good morning and happy Friday! I am looking forward to the weekend. Even though school started back yesterday I feel that the real structure and craziness will begin on Monday. I plan on taking this weekend to get organized so we are ready to rock and roll next week.

I am sharing a card that I made for the Colour Me monochromatic challenge and Freshly Made Sketches sketch going on now!

Pistachio Pudding is not a color that I initially reach for all the time but when I use it I love it! I looks so good with white and kraft card stock. This time around I used white and another color that I think turned out very well. It's a popular color but one that I also don't reach for all the time.

GOLD! I just love the way it looks against the green and white. It pops off the card and gives it such a fun look. There's a lot of embossing on this card so my work area was very messy by the time this card was all said and done. The gold scalloped piece was coated with Versamark ink and then I applied gold embossing powder to give it a shiny look. I will link all the supplies at the end of my post if you are curious as to where they are all from.

Now I'm off to make lunch and get the 8th grader to school. Hope you have a wonderful day and happy stampin!
