You Float My Boat

Good morning and happy Monday!! Another weekend has come and gone in a blink of an eye. I guess when you are having fun time flies. I did squeeze in time to make a card for two different challenges going on right now.

The Paper Players and Freshly Made Sketches both have a great color combo and a sketch!

I do love red, white and blue together!! There's just something about the colors of the flag that make any project beautiful. I bought a perfect 6x6 paper pad by Carta Bella this past weekend called Ahoy There and it had the exact colors I needed for my card. The papers were dying to be paired with the stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Float My Boat. It is an absolutely adorable set!

I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set from Stampin to make my own background. I say this every time I use it and I'll say it again! I love this stamp set and never ever imagined that I would! The red striped paper is from the Carta Bella Ahoy There paper pad. I stamped the sail boat once on white paper and then on the striped paper so I could cut out the sails to add some extra color. I think this would be a great masculine card to give to a Dad or brother that loves to be out on a boat.

My oldest is back at basketball camp this week and then we are headed to the pool afterwards for a little fun in the sun!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Happy Stampin,
