DD#96- "Your Choice" Week

Good morning friends. I hope this post finds you in good spirits today. It's a dreary Saturday here in Georgia. I have a hard time getting motivated when days start out like this. Thankfully the house is clean, most of the laundry is done and no activities are planned for outside.

The one thing that does make this Saturday exciting is that there is a new challenge over at Dynamic Duos! It is "Your Choice" week and I had so much fun with my colors!!

I love the color Gumball Green. It pairs nicely with so many colors that I had a hard time picking the one I wanted to use with it. I first went with yellow (Daffodil Delight) but it seemed to clash a bit and then I went with blue (Midnight Muse) but it didn't seem really shout Spring like I wanted it to. I figured that pink (Pink Pirouette) was my best bet and I was so right! I love, love, love how it turned out!! I used the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments to create my card.

I used a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to make my own background and I have to say I was a little giddy when I finished with it. I like to take a step back and look at something when I'm done and it either gets a big smile or a frowny face. Cheesy, I know.

I was in need of a birthday card for a friend and I just love this sentiment from the Just Sayin stamp set. I could've used the Banners framelits but ended up just free handing it. It all came together very quickly and I guess that's what happens when you have great colors, great sketch and awesome products to work with.

Here is a picture of the sketch that I used if you would like to use this one as well. Just click on the image and it will direct you to their website.

Hope you can find some time this next week to join us and show us your creativity and what color you choose to use with Gumball Green.

Head on over to the other ladies on the design team and see what they have to share with you today.

Our challenge ends on Thursdays at Noon (PDT).  We have a few rules to keep things fun and fair!

1. Any project is welcome...paper crafts, scrapbooking, digital, or crafts...

2. Please ONLY use the two colours listed for your project. Neutrals are welcome.

3. Combine us with as many other challenges as you would like, except other colour challenges.

4. Please add our graphic to your blog with a link back to us.

5. Any offensive or inappropriate posts will be deleted respectively. Thank you.

Happy Stampin'
