Unique Snowflake for DD #89

Good afternoon friends! My little sister is getting married today! I can't believe that she is old enough to be getting married. In my mind, she is still 10 running around the house in pigtails. Lots going on around my parents house today.

This will be a short post as I am being put to work. I tried to avoid getting too involved but that didn't work.

The challenge this week is Subtly Yours and these are the colors

And here is my take on the challenge.

These colors are hard as I don't use pastels a whole lot. I guess that's why I like challenges as it makes me think outside my normal box in crafting. Head on over to all my design team members blog to see what they have created.

Our challenge ends on Thursdays at Noon (PDT).  We have a few rules to keep things fun and fair!

1. Any project is welcome...paper crafts, scrapbooking, digital, or crafts...

2. Please ONLY use the two colours listed for your project. Neutrals are welcome.

3. Combine us with as many other challenges as you would like, except other colour challenges.

4. Please add our graphic to your blog with a link back to us.

5. Any offensive or inappropriate posts will be deleted respectively. Thank you.

Hope you will join us this week!!

Happy Stampin'

  1. Love this, Angel! I am a big fan of non-traditional colors for holiday cards and I think this is awesome. The soft colors are so pretty with the delicate snowflakes. Have fun at the wedding! :)

  2. Love the sentiment on your card Angel. You must have "snow" on your mind. :)
Best wishes to your little sister on her wedding.

  3. Beautiful card, Angel. I know what you mean about those pastels... I really like the embossed panel behind the die-cut snowflakes. Gives lots of textural interest. Have fun at your lil' sister's wedding!

  4. These colors lend themselves so beautifully with a winter theme of soft snowflakes- the romantic kind not the slushy, yucky stuff we have now. I love the design and the colors are showcased so nicely.

  5. Your card turned out great! A soft and subtle Christmas card...ready to go for 2014! :)

  6. I agree with the others- love the soft, non-traditional colors for the snowflake card! Congrats to your sister on her wedding :-)

  7. Hope you had a wonderful time at the wedding! This is such a beautiful winter card--love how you used the colors!

Thank you so much for your comments. Hope you will come back soon!
