Retro Sketches Challenge #82

I am enjoying finding challenges and creating cards! I forgot how fun it was to find different sketches or rules and challenging myself. Today I submitted a challenge for Retro Sketches. I am in the Fall/Halloween mood. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to make even though the sketch was quite simple. It could be that I completely over analyze every single thing I make but I like for the things I make to be as close to perfect as can be.

The sketch for this challenge is:

This is the card that I came up with:

I am doing my best to use up all of my old 6X6 paper pads before I buy any new ones. I looked at my collection a few weeks ago and realized that I was becoming a collector instead of a user. The one used for the above card is Harvest Lane by Simple Stories. The jar is one of my favorite die cuts from our catalog. I snagged it the minute we were able to buy it and use it a lot during this time of year. You can't really tell from the pictures but there is a clear overlay covering the jar to hold in the small pieces. It's really cute but I couldn't get it to show up in the picture.

Hope you enjoyed looking today. If you have any questions about the products used, just ask. You can also view my online store at My Stampin World.

  1. I'm exactly the same with 6x6 pads...I have heaps of them and can never resist buying more! Not surprised you went for the die cut - it's so pretty filled with all your autumn inspired embellishments! Thanks for joining us at Retro Sketches this week!

Thank you so much for your comments. Hope you will come back soon!
