I am here today to share a card using products from the new Create A Smile April Release. You will swoon over all of the new sets. We have sentiments, flowers and an adorable hippo that will make you smile for sure!
I stamped each flower outline using Memento Jet Black ink. The insides of the flower were stamped using three different colors of ink. I love the green, orange and yellow together.
I die cut the new thanks die using black card stock. The sentiment below is from the Mini Thanks set and stamped using Versamark ink and melted with white embossing powder. I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen over the word thanks to give it a little shimmer.
The new release will be available on Friday, April 15 at 10am CET (3pm EST). Check out the blog here for more information. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great evening!

Good morning friends! I am here to share a card for the new Sunday Stamps Challenge that starts today. The design team was given a sketch to use to create our cards. I have to say that everyone did an amazing job on this challenge. All of the cards are stunningly beautiful!
I used new stamps and inks from Altenew to create my card for you today.
I love this flower and leaves from the Peony Bouquet set. I will admit that I've been a little nervous about using these type of stamp sets. I didn't know how use all of the different layers but with their inks it makes it so much easier.
I used Evergreen, Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf to create the ombre background which turned out beautiful! I used Jet Black ink along with the same green inks to create the leaves. The flower was created with Jet Black as the outline and Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Cotton Candy. I used the biggest oval in the Scallop Ovals from Pretty Pink Posh to die cut a piece of white paper. The sentiment is from another Altenew set called Many Thanks. I stamped both on black card stock using Versamark ink and melting white embossing powder using my heat tool. A piece of tissue paper from my stash was used as my banner from the sketch. I finished it off using a few 6mm Clear Droplets and Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to give some bling.
I will be practicing my stamp layering using these flowers and different colors of ink to make more flowers. I hope you've been inspired by my card today and will join our challenge. It will end on Friday, April 22 at 6pm so you have plenty of time to create something wonderful.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

I am here today to share an Easter card that I made using an adorable stamp set from Create A Smile Stamps called Eggstraordinary Egghunt. The critters in this set are so cute and can be used to dress up any treat! I chose to make a simple card using one of my favorite sentiments in the set.
I started out with a piece of Neenah white card stock to use as my base. I colored the front panel using Cracked Pistachio distress ink. Next I took a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock and colored it using Abandoned Coral distress ink. After giving it a few minutes to dry, I used my Distress Sprayer to create water marks and a beautiful background.
I just recently purchased the Stacked Pierced Ovals and used the biggest one to die cut a piece of Neenah white card stock. I stamped the bunny using Gray Flannel Memento ink and a variety of Copic markers to color him. The sentiment is stamped using Onyx Black Versafine ink. I adhered everything to the card base and sprinkled on different sizes of Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope to create lots this weekend and will have more to share next week.
Have a great day,

Hello friends. Hello crafters. Hello blogging world.
It's been a long hard road since my last post on December 23, 2015. Life has changed in such a dramatic way that a lot of times I still can't believe it's real. I never would have thought that taking my husband to the hospital on Christmas Day would forever change my/our lives forever.
He spent 23 days in the hospital for liver failure. 23 long days and nights. Lots of tears and a roller coaster of emotions during each one of those days. He was able to overcome what we thought were his last days and walked out of that hospital on January 16 to live with his godfather in hopes to get stronger. Unfortunately, his body was already too far gone and his liver was so damaged. On January 21, he was taken to Hospice as he was unresponsive. My boys and I made our way to Florida to be with him and to say our goodbyes. It was not in the cards to make it there before he took his last breath on January 22 at 3:19pm. It's a date and time that will forever my etched in my mind.
I buried my husband and the father to my two boys. He is missed and always in our hearts.
Days, weeks, and even a month has gone by since that day. We are learning how to live without him. We are getting use to our new normal. There are good days and bad days. Today is a good day.
I am back. I have missed crafting so much. This community is hands down one of the best communities to be a part of especially when you need them the most. I am so thankful for the calls, texts, messages, cards and every single prayer that I have felt since losing my husband.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
For my card today, I used the challenge at Sunday Stamps as my inspiration.
I used a new stamp and die set from Concord & 9th to create my card. I used the Floral & Flutter Bundle along with the Beautiful Bundle.
I used distress inks to bring the color to my card. The butterfly die cut is so beautiful and intricate. I do love everything about it and see it being used a lot in the future. The font of the word beautiful has to be one of the most beautiful fonts ever. If only I could write like that in my real life it would be amazing!
Head over to the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the rest of the design team created and to join in on the challenge. Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back soon with more design team work and to share more of my love for card making.
Have a great day!

We are counting down the days until Santa arrives here in our house. Being that it's only one more day we have a very excited 5 year old that can't wait!
Meanwhile, I am in my craft as much as I can prepping for tags and catching up on DT work. Today I am sharing a tag that I created for the Lawnscaping FIT Blog Hop. This is the last post for my term and unfortunately the last post for the Facebook Inspiration Team. You can find out more information on the blog. I loved being a part of this team and will always be honored to be a part of it.
We are sponsored by The Ink Road. Hop along to each blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the online store.
We were challenged with the color Evergreen and here is how I was inspired.
I used the Puffy Star Stackables dies from Lawn Fawn and colored it with Forest Moss distress ink. I then used the adorable snowman from Making Frosty Friends and his accessories to make one cute snow friend! I stamped the sentiment from the same set using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I tied Peppermint hemp cord from Lawn Fawn adding two little jingle bells for extra fun!
Hope you can stop by each of the blogs below to check out what they created and leave a comment.
Have a great day and Merry Christmas to ALL!!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season and not experiencing too much stress!
I am here today to share a card for the last Lawnscaping Challenge of the year! I still can't believe that the year 2016 is right around the corner!! For this challenge, we have created projects for my favorite time of year, Christmas!
Our challenge is sponsored by the amazing Lawn Fawn!! The winner of this challenge can choose a stamp set of their choice and I can promise you that is going to be a very hard decision!
I went with a fun and whimsical card using the Critters from the Past set. I just picked up this set a few weeks ago because I have wanted it for a very long time! My youngest son loves and is some what obsessed with dinosaurs right now so this set is perfect for him!
I stamped all of the images using Memento Black Onyx ink and then colored them in with my Copic markers. I will have to say that I am proud of my coloring here as you can actually see shading and it doesn't look completely ridiculous! I could definitely hang out with a T-rex and Brontosaurus that looked like this. Hee Hee
I framed the card using the Large Stitched Rectangle Dies and then colored the background using Tumbled Glass distress ink. I gave each of the dinosaurs a Santa hat from the Toboggan Together set because that makes total sense, right? Then to make the card even more fun I added ornaments from the Joy to the Woods set to the palm trees. I mean I'm sure someone has done this in Florida! I think one of my favorite parts of the card is the sentiment also from Toboggan Together and Critters from the Past! My 15 year old got a kick out of this card and even went as far to send a Snapchat to his friends. I figured if he shared it with his friends that it has to be good!!
I finished off the card by adding Peppermint Lawn Trimmings hemp cord around the top of card.
